Development of a short- and medium-term optimization program for the transmission grid of Azerenerji.

Establish a program of optimization and rehabilitation of the existing substations and overhead lines based on the diagnostic report (made in 2016) and the root cause analysis of the system collapse in July 2018 as well as analysis of updated information

This work has been performed in close cooperation with the consultant’s experts and management of Azerenerji and MoE.

Responsibilities

Development of an optimization and rehabilitation program for transmission system with following topics:

• Grid and substation operation
• System of automatic control and monitoring (SCADA)
• Optimization of protection concepts
• Recommendations for stable system operation
• Optimization of transmission system management and administration

Cost estimation for required measures of the program and planning an implementation schedule
